My Testimony

I would like to share with you about the power of God in me...

One night when I was in my bedroom while watching t.v. and about to sleep, there is a whispering voice calling my name "Marvin, Marvin". I look around and I found out that no one is around. And suddenly, the wind blows on window of my bedroom. The voice became more louder saying: "Marvin, it's Me!" and I replied: "Lord, is that You?" and He answered: "Yes! It's me!".

God said to me that He wants to show to me His perfect plan for me will happen very soon. And He said that I will wake up one day and everything will be normal in my body. I will walk by myself. But, He said to me that if I walk by myself already, I will spread the Good News of the Lord and I will be a great testimony to the whole world. I know that God will use me mightily for His kingdom and I know that nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37)...

Then suddenly while I am having conversation with God, I heard another voice saying: "Don't believe on Him because you will never walk by yourself forever." And I know that's the voice of the devil. "I rebuke you! IN JESUS NAME!" I said to that voice... Then the cats are fighting to each other downstairs after I rebuke the devil. God proves me that He is really ALIVE. God gave me a bible verse (Isaiah 41:10) saying He will never leave nor forsake me wherever I go. Then I asked Him for His confirmation and He gave me 3 verses in the bible (Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:5 and Joshua 1:9).

After our conversation, He said: "Good night, My son and sweet dreams... I love you!" and I said "Good night too, Jesus and I love you too God..."

Wireless Connection...

Most of us today want a really fast internet connection. Almost all of our gadgets can be connected to internet via Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) is the wireless connection to the internet and wireless connection is an unseen connection. But, do you know that in our Christian life, there is also a wireless connection? That wireless connection is called FAITH.

FAITH is the UNSEEN connection to God (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is believing and hoping that God can do miracles to our situations even we cannot see Him through our naked eyes. We can reach and talk to God through prayers. He is available always. When we pray to God, just believe that all things are possible to Him who believes (Mark 9:23).  We may not see Him with our own naked eyes but we will be able to see His miraculous works and we will testify it. The Holy Spirit is with us always.

Just like connecting to the internet, there are also 3 steps to connect with God:

  • Search
  • Download
  • Upload
  • Watch
  • Share

SEARCH - When we search/seek Him, we will surely find Him and all things shall be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). When we call upon Him, God will surely answer us (Jeremiah 33:3) and God will listen.

DOWNLOAD - In the internet world, we are always downloading a lot of things from the internet especially when the internet speed is very fast. In Christian life, we can DOWNLOAD BLESSINGS from God. Just pray to GOD what we need and He will give us the BEST. Our Father in Heaven already knows the things we need before we ask Him (Matthew 6:6 - 8). If we ask anything in His name, He will surely do it (John 14:14) and that is His promise. We don't have to worry if sometimes we thought that He is not answering our prayers because there is always a perfect timing. Trust Him! All we need to do is pray and have faith on Him (2 Corinthians 5:7).

UPLOAD - After we SEARCH/SEEK Him and DOWNLOAD HIS BLESSINGS for us, we must UPLOAD OUR THANKS GIVING to Him and give Him PRAISE (Psalm 100:1-5). In every circumstances, we must GIVE THANKS to Him (1 Thessalonians 5:8) because everything happens according to His will and purpose.

WATCH - Watch out as He performs COUNTLESS MIRACLES. When He pour down or we DOWNLOAD His blessings for us and UPLOAD our praises to Him (DOWNLOAD & UPLOAD collides), there will be surely MIRACLES  that are going to happen - "After all, he's famous for great and unexpected acts; there's no end to his surprises." - Job 5:9 (Message Bible). "We'll never comprehend all the great things he does; his miracle-surprises can't be counted." - Job 9:10 (Message Bible).

SHARE - Today, there are many fake news especially in social media. But the Word of God (Holy Bible) is always GOOD NEWS and TRUE. Our job must be to spread the GOOD NEWS to everyone (Mark 16:15 (NLT)). When we do that, it will surely all is well because the Word of God is very true.

Just like a wireless internet connection, we are experiencing an interruption on our faith sometimes and sometimes we thought that He is not listening to our prayers because the devil wants us to doubt in our faith. Our spiritual enemy (the devil) wants to kill, steal and to destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus said that we must live by FAITH and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Jesus hears every single prayer because He is with us always  (Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:5 and Joshua 1:9).

Be Happy Always...

Depression is one of the problems that the world is facing nowadays. Sad to say that a lot of people commit suicide because of depression. The causes of depression are sadness. loneliness and disappointments.

Now, I would like to start this topic with the very famous story in the Bible: "David and Goliath". We all know that Goliath is a very giant human being while David is a very young boy who believes that God is always with him. According to the story, Goliath is challenging the Israelites to fight against him together with his army and Goliath is in a full of battle gear. David was only having a stone and a sling shot "He picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine" - 1 Samuel 17:40 (NLT). "So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword" - 1 Samuel 17:50 (NLT).

Goliath represents problems/trials while David represents us. Take note of the five smooth stones. That stones represent JESUS because JESUS is the stone "Jesus is ‘the stone you masons threw out, which is now the cornerstone.’ Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one.” - Acts 4:11-12 (MSG). "For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” - 1 Peter 2:6 (NIV).

That's why, whatever problem/s or trial/s that we have, just call JESUS. He will be surely our strength and defense. "Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." – Isaiah 12:2 (NIV).

In present times, our enemies can't be seen. They are not actually human/flesh but we are fighting a battle against evil rulers of unseen world "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." – Ephesians 6:12 (NLT). When we feel sadness, loneliness, disappointments or discouragements, don't be depressed because JESUS is always with us. He is always there to rescue us from any kinds of problems/trials. So, what should we do now? Just call JESUS "Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory." – Psalms 50:15 (NLT). There is a power in our tongue and that is the power of declaration. But, there are God's reminders in using our tongue:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. – Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. – Ephesians 4:29 (NLT)

That's why, we must believe that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with God when we declare something...

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. – Mark 11:24 (NLT)

But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! – John 15:7 (NLT)

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

– Psalms 37:4 (NIV)

As we can see, we can pray/ask ANYTHING to God and it will be granted. All of our prayers are heard and answered by God if we have FAITH. But, we must listen the answer of God if it is a YES or a NO. Sometimes if God answered 'NO' to our prayers. But, don't be discourage and don't get disappointed. Instead, be more excited because the meaning of the God's 'NO' is Next Opportunity. We cannot understand the purpose of the Lord sometimes: Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.” – John 13:7 (NLT). We have to wait on His perfect timing because we deserve THE BEST of God "This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go." - Isaiah 48:17 (NIV).

"So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised." - Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT). There will be surely a great reward when we are waiting patiently.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

Conclusion:

So I concluded there is nothing better than to be HAPPY AND ENJOY ourselves as long as we can. - Ecclesiastes 3:12 (NLT)
